This exquisite table is the inspired collaboration of two very gifted artists, Bonnie Fulford-Stewart and Leo Weber. The size dimensions are 30"x 30" sq. and 36" tall. Weight is approximately 200 lbs. height of the tallest playing piece, the King, is approximately 7". The woods are walnut, birdseye maple, rosewood, and ebony. The tones of the wood and the patinas used to finish the bronze, as well as the garment-leather that lines the hidden capture zones and display shelves, have been chosen to reflect the season "Autumn". Over the next years, at the rate of one per year, the tables representing the seasons of Spring, Summer, and Winter, each unique in it's own right, will be offered for sale, after which the molds will be destroyed. Celtic-Medieval archival patterns have been replicated throughout, cast in bronze, and carved in wood. Each of the bronze playing pieces has a protective tooling leather bottom finished in a corresponding color. © 2007 Star Route Studio
